She’s hitting the road!!! I’m excited, are YOU excited??!! 

Today a small army descended upon our house to finish things up! It’s not done. It’s 1:30am. I’m okay with that. Her room is ready (enough)  and she has or will have what she needs for the next several days at home until we get a bit more organized. The bathroom is the main thing left undone, but LBJake is going to be back with a few other ‘dad dudes’ to work on it first thing in the morning.  

I’m not posting photos because Shannon will see them and it will ruin the surprise! You’ll have to wait. But I will let you see more in progress shots :) 

I did not talk to Shannon at all today- only a couple of text messages. We’ve been soooo busy. This is her checklist of what she’s done. 

I sat on the floor (pt)

Got dressed (ot) 

Played a game and won (Rec)

Sang a song (music)

Talked to velma about college (speech)

Stressed kaitie out and worked on my board (art)

There are SO many people that have showed up for so many hours to make Shannon’s place wonderful. It’s so apparent she is well loved! And there’s a whole lotta love going around in general :D

The dad dude parties every night are coming to an end, and some dudes are looking for other projects to work on so they can keep coming back. ❤️

Thank you so much for your continued prayers! Please pray for Shannon’s transition to home to go smoothly, and for her to feel loved and well cared for. Also prayers for her body to maintain it’s temperature and blood pressure so she will not struggle with them when she changes to a new environment.
